Sustainability - Recycling Coordinator

Position Description: 

This position works with the Director of Sustainability to manage our on-campus recycling and zero waste programs.  The student will oversee weekly/daily recycling collections and respond to work order requests for recycling.  They will also help set up and take down recycling bins at zero waste events or athletic events as needed.  Furthermore, student workers will assist in delivering recycled paper to offices around campus on Fridays. This is an ideal position for anyone who is passionate about environmental work and likes working outdoors.

Position Qualifications: 

Must be able to drive a manual truck or willingness to learn upon starting the job.

Must be able to pull a 20-foot recycling trailer through campus during all types of weather conditions or willingness to learn upon starting the job.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds routinely.

Must be comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather conditions (protective equipment such as gloves/vests will be provided)
