Office Assistant

Position Description: 
  • This work-study position involves a lot of phone contact: answering the phones and making calls, and contact with students, parents or faculty/staff that come into the office. Another part of the job is helping students when they are locked out of the halls. The student contact in our office is huge. This student will be working with our StarRez housing software system. A little filing. Processing mail and answering email questions. Completing any tasks asked of them in the office. Organizing office and decorating it. Customer service is huge. This position is held at the standards of the Resident Assistants as far as confidentiality. 
Position Qualifications: 
  • Must have office experience or jobs where there was a lot of contact with people. Customer service must have been the foremost importance. Typing, computer and filing skills needed. Good at answering the phone. Willing to complete any tasks asked of them. You must comply with the University's confidentiality requirement and sign a statement that you agree to those policies.
