Mountaineer Card Office Assistant
Western Colorado University’s Mountaineer Card Office is seeking a few part time Assistants. The position is for the Fall 2019 semester, with the option to extend into Spring 2020. The Assistants will report to the Card Office Manager. The role’s main objective is to ensure that the card office runs smoothly on a day to day basis.
Skills & Responsibilities:
Assist students, faculty, and staff with their Mountaineer card needs:
Take photos for IDs.
Print replacement IDs.
Be a source of information:
Answer questions regarding Mountaineer Cash, Flex $, etc.
Help the Res Life and LEAD offices during busy times.
Other duties as assigned by the manager
Potential for more duties as the position grows.
Assistants must be enrolled at Western Colorado University during the period of employment. Must have good problem solving and critical thinking skills. Must demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and have the ability to work independently and efficiently. Must have strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, and be willing to take on other duties as they are assigned.
Assistants must be able to be on campus on Sunday, August 18th (3 days before fall orientation) for training to be conducted on that Monday/Tuesday. You will be able to move into your room on the 18th.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience using computers/printers/software
