Library Assistant

Position Description: 

Work study at the library is mutually beneficial to your work-school balance, your personal development, and the needs of the library. The variety of tasks will help to develop essential educational skills for your future and make you a better researcher. Work study is an opportunity to prioritize your studies while maintaining employment and giving back to the campus community. Individual positions are described within the online application (see below). 

Position Qualifications: 

It is expected that all work study employees will provide exceptional customer service, assist patrons in a courteous and respectful manner, and maintain a friendly and welcoming environment. Each employee is required to have attention to detail, accurate keyboarding skills, and strong written and verbal communication. Work study employees are expected to arrive for scheduled shifts on time and must be able to work under minimal supervision. A state or federal work study award is required.
