Fall Day of Service
Western students are proud to announce the Fall Day of Service, which is held the Sunday of Homecoming Weekend. We are calling all change makers in the Gunnison Valley to perform individual acts of kindness through service to others! Volunteers will participate in a service project with a non-profit, organization, or community member in need. When resources and citizens come together with purpose, communities grow and prosper!
MLK Day of Service
"A day on, not a day off"
Every Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, a group of Western students is proud to host a day of service in Dr. King’s name. Thousands of students and community members across the country will participate in this national holiday by doing community service to translate Dr. King’s dreams into actions. We are calling all change makers at Western and in the Gunnison Valley to reflect on gains won during the Civil Rights Movement and to address contemporary issues facing our nation through performing individual acts of kindness through service to others.
Join us for the next MLK Day of Service on Jan. 20, 2020. Check-in is at 10:00 a.m. at Western’s University Center Ballroom.
