Overview

Western Colorado University is committed to low tuition costs, and we are ready to help you find the most efficient path to your degree. We offer customizable financing options and one-on-one support with a financial aid counselor to create a payment plan that works for you and your circumstances.

Scholarships, grants, loans and more.

As a returning college student, there are a variety of scholarships available specifically for adult learners, within Colorado and beyond. We encourage you to apply for these opportunities to offset the cost of your education. In addition, you may apply for federal grants, and if fully enrolled, state grants specifically for undergraduate students.

Western now partners with Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (COSI) for in-state grants to help you with ADC. That’s money in your pocket! Qualify for up to $3000 of annual aid through the Back to Work or Finish What You Started COSI programs.  For students who are out-of-state, we have Western’s Legacy Scholarships which are up to $1500 annual awards for qualifying students.  Students apply for COSI-related funding as part of entering the program. Additional COSI and Western policies apply, please contact ADC Success Advisor Eliza Ekstrom Sullivan for more information.
