Peer Leadership Conference

Student Government Association, LEAD Office, Campus Recreation, Residence Life & the Multicultural Center invite YOU to apply to join us for the Peer Leadership Conference in Denver, March 10, 2018!

This 1-day event will include presentations from community leaders, team-building, poster sessions, and interactive leadership workshops and a final debrief session to turn the day's learning into action when you return to campus. Come mingle with mentors, staff and faculty to learn from each other, network and share great ideas. Last year over 15 students attended from Western and we had a great time. If you are interested in joining us, please fill out the form below. Since space is limited, unfortunately not everyone who expresses interest will be able to attend. We are looking for student who are motivated to step up their leadership at WESTERN!

Please note: students who are selected to participate in this program will be expected to travel to/from Denver and stay at the conference hotel with the Western team.

Conference Details & Logistics
One of the important outcomes of this experience is that Western student leaders network and spend time with other Western student leaders. One way this is possible is through traveling to/from the conference together as a team and staying in the conference hotel. *Students who can travel to/from the conference in school vans and staying at the conference hotel will be given preference. If you are selected to attend and have extenuating circumstances and need to travel on your own, you will be responsible for your own mileage/parking & hotel.
