About KWSB

We’re a non-commercial, college radio station on the campus of Western Colorado University in Gunnison, Colorado. Our operation is student funded, student driven and student staffed – and has been since 1968. At KWSB, we strive to broadcast the most entertaining programming possible. 

On Friday, January 26th 2018, KWSB ​celebrated its 50th anniversary! Western's student-run FM radio station hit the air waives on January 26th, 1968 and has never stopped broadcasting, aside from technical repairs.
