Types of Aid
Western Colorado University aims to make your education affordable through providing several options for financial assistance. If you have any questions regarding our financial aid options, please contact our Financial Aid department.
Immediately upon acceptance at Western, every student is considered for a Merit Scholarship based on their GPA and ACT/SAT scores. Here, you can browse our scholarships and find out if you automatically qualify for any applicable scholarships. You can also apply for both common and program-based scholarships.
If you do not qualify for a merit scholarship, you may qualify for a Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE), Central Plains (CP) or Neighboring States discount, based on your residency.
