The Basics of Photography is a hands-on workshop geared toward beginner and emerging photographers looking to get more out of their photographic experience. Taking a good photo starts with the mechanics of the camera and continues with composition. Students learn the basics of the digital camera and photographic principles such as aperture, shutter speed, and depth of field as well as the creativity and composition needed to make compelling digital images. Half the workshop is spent shooting photographs and the other half is spent learning by critiquing our work. No refunds after 3/19/2014.
