Who to call in a MENTAL HEALTH EMERGENCY or After-Hours (available 24 hours a day, seven days a week):
- If you have a Mental Health Emergency or crisis after hours, please call 970.252.6220 (a Montrose number) and ask for the Mental Health Emergency Team Professional available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Please tell them you are calling from Western in Gunnison and give them your phone number and name. Wait by the phone. They should call back within 15 minutes. If your call is not returned in 15 minutes, please call again.
- You may also go directly to the Gunnison Valley Hospital Emergency Room (711 N. Taylor Street) and ask them to page the Mental Health Emergency Professional on-call, or immediately dial 911. (There may be fees for hospital and lab charges).
