When you come to the Fitness Center at the Mountaineer Field House, it will feel like you’re at a big, private gym. The Fitness Center will challenge you to feel fit, younger and healthier. We aim to offer programming and facilities to help YOU reach your goals for health, fitness, and performance.
During the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters, Fitness Center programming MAY include the following group fitness classes. Please check in with the front desk for a detailed list of class offerings. Thank you
|RIP||Head-to-toe, strength-endurance class using barbells and plates.|
|SPIN||Indoor-cycling class. 45 - 60 minutes of on-bike effort!|
|ATHLETIC CONDITIONING||Functional exercises for core stability, increased strength/endurance, and increased cardiovascular fitness.|
Powerful and energetic yoga that incorporates postures that flow together to strength, stretch, and relax the body.
|ZUMBA||Calorie burning dance fitness party that combines cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility for a total body workout.|
|Core/Cardio/Balance||Working your core, heart/cardio, and balance.|
New Fitness Orientation sessions are available to introduce anyone new to all our fitness equipment. These are FREE of charge. Call Fitness Center Manager Jessica Thomas at 970-943-3363 to set up an appointment. This is a great way to be introduced to the joys of belonging to a fitness center.
