Gunnison Valley Farm-to-Table Conference

Mark your calendars for the third annual Farm to Table Conference at Western State Colorado University! This year's conference will feature a Gunnison Valley Signature Dish Cook Off, incredible work shops and presenters, tours of the sustainable food system infrastructure on campus, and more! 

Have you ever cooked a fantastic local and sustainable meal (or, is that pretty much all you cook)?  If so, you may be interested in entering our recipe/cooking contest.  We're giving away $700 in prize money for the best local meals in the Gunnison Valley -- breakfast dishes, salads, side dishes, meat and potatoes, sauerkraut, pineapple upside down cake (OK, maybe not) -- enter the contest for you chance to win cash prizes or at the very least, local cooking prowess.  The only catch, if yours is one of the ten best recipes we receive, you must be willing to come make your dish for us to taste on April 8.  Entering the contest is simple, just email your recipe (ingredients and cooking directions) and a picture of your dish to mvieregge@western.edu.  For more info, click
