Cash and Credit Card Payment
I want to pay for my course credits using a credit card. What do I do?
STEP 1: MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE REGISTERED FOR COURSE CREDIT
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Before payment can be made, you must be REGISTERED for credit for your program. If you have not completed and submitted your credit registration packet to firstname.lastname@example.org, please complete the OUTDOOR PROGRAMS APPLICATION REQUEST FORM and we will send you a registration packet within 2-3 business days. Complete your registration forms and send them to our office. Once your registration is processed, you will receive a REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION EMAIL with all sorts of information, such as your student ID, assignments, and HOW TO PAY! Keep in mind that it takes our small, but powerful Outdoor Programs staff several business days to process and send your REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION so please, be patient. We are working very hard to assist you and quite a few others just like you at the same time!
Whew! Great...now that you've read all the fine print contained in your packet AND received your REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION EMAIL, you are NOW ready to pay for your credits.
If you are using previously withdrawn 529 funding, and are wanting to pay for your Outdoor Programs course tuition and Western credit using a credit card, please visit the 529 Plan section (add link back to there) for instructions.
STEP 2: CALL THE CASHIER’S OFFICE TO SUBMIT PAYMENT
Once you receive a registration confirmation email confirming that you are registered in course credit, you can call the Cashier’s Office to pay for your credit. The Cashier’s Office is open 9am-4:00pm (MST) Monday – Friday, and can be reached at 970.943.3030.
IMPORTANT! These instructions are specifically for students that are not using 529 or AmeriCorps educational funding. If you are paying with either of those methods, please refer to the webpage with instructions on how to use those payment methods.
Once Western has processed your payment, you will receive a payment confirmation letter in the mail within 2-4 weeks. The payment process is complete once you receive your confirmation letter.
