OUTDOOR AND EXPERIENTIAL EDUCATION PROGRAM PARTNERSHIPS

Western State Colorado University Extended Studies has developed partnerships with quality outdoor wilderness education and other experiential education programs to offer college credit. Extended Studies offers students the opportunity to earn credit while participating in valuable learning opportunities provided by our contract partners through field expeditions and cultural exploration, as well as through leadership training and various certifications.

If you are planning to enroll in a course and would like to earn college credit, please complete the OUTDOOR PROGRAMS APPLICATION REQUEST FORM to receive your credit registration packet.

Read about our exciting new partnership for college credit with Solar Energy International
GUNNISON, Colo. - Solar Energy International (SEI) and Western State Colorado University are proud to announce a groundbreaking partnership through the Western Extended Studies Department that will give students the ability to receive college credit for SEI’s industry-recognized solar training program. Through a dual enrollment agreement, students will be able to enroll in SEI’s classes offered online, in-person and as hands-on labs to receive college credit from Western. Students can also enroll in SEI’s Solar Professionals Certificate Program, which is recognized by the Colorado Department of Higher Education and comprised of a combination of SEI class offerings.
