After 120 minutes of inactivity, computers automatically lock and require the user to enter their network password to regain access.
The mandatory lockout period should be considered a fail-safe maximum. Using the Windows screen saver, users are expected to select a screen lock wait time, within the 120 minute maximum, that is appropriate for their work practices.
Regardless of their lockout time, users are strongly encouraged to manually lock their screen whenever they leave their computer. This is easily done by pressing Windows Logo Key + L or by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete and selecting Lock Computer.
