Water Works for Weight Loss Nothing quells the appetite like water, lots and lots of water. Start out with two quart bottles in the morning and carry one with you to work or wherever you go. If you like, divvy up the 64 ounces of water into eight (8-ounce) bottles or four pint (16-ounce) bottles to carry around with you all day. Freeze half of them the night before and they will last all day, even in a hot car. Keep some unfrozen so they will be ready to drink immediately. Yes. You will have to make more frequent bathroom trips, but it is worth it. Drink your 64 ounces of water before dinner, if possible, so you're not up half the night going to the bathroom. Water not only fills you up and lessens your appetite, it prevents those "hungry horrors" we all encounter when our blood sugar drops and we reach for cookies, candy, ice cream, fries or other high-calorie treats. Water also flushes out the system, rids the body of bloat and toxins and rosies up the complexion. Now, start splashing
Mission Statement
When you come to the Escalante Fitness Center, we want you to feel like
you’re at a big private gym. We hope that we have created a facility
that will challenge you to be fit, feel younger, and healthier than you
have ever felt in your life.
At Escalante Fitness Center you have the choice of 8 programs that you
can participate in with your membership. You have Weight Training, Aerobics,
Polymeric’s, Kick boxing, Swiss ball, Spinning, Core, and a 30 minute
Body Blast that you can choose from. If you are more the one on one type
of individual then you can also set up personal training session with
one of our certified instructors or trainers. Most of our programs are
given twice a day so whenever our members prefer to work-out you will
have the opportunity to do so. We also have the tallest climbing wall
in the Gunnison valley, and the only bouldering cave that you can use
at any time with your membership. For your little ones you can boulder
with your children as young as four and children eight year of age and
up can climb the 30 foot wall. No matter how you like to stay fit we know
you can do it here. And for your convenience we are now open seven days
a week.
