There are two scholarship opportunities for the Water Workshop this year:

1. THE GUNNISON BASIN/GRAND VALLEY WATER FORUM is again making it possible for either representatives from low-budget water groups or students with water-related studies to attend the conference at a substantially reduced rate. To apply for this scholarship, you need to fill out the Scholarship Form and write a brief statement about why or how you believe you and/or your group will benefit from your attendance.

2. THE COLORADO INTERBASIN COMPACT COMMITTEE EDUCATION WORKING GROUP is offering twenty $200 Scholarships to members of Basin Roundtables or the IBCC. These 20 Scholarships are being offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so act fast!

If you wish to apply for one of these 20 Scholarships, fill out the "personal information" section of the Paper Registration Form (the one for checks or GPOs only), or the form in the mailed brochure, and fax it immediately to 970-943-3380. Be sure to tell which Basin Roundtable you are a member of.

Send no money with that form. If you are one of the lucky 20, we will inform you of the good news and send you a bill for the remaining $80. That bill must be paid within two weeks of that notification, or the Scholarship will be forfeited to the next person on the list.

If your application was too late to receive one of the Scholarships, you will also be notified of that, and can perhaps work on other financing for the conference. - such as one of the GB/GV Water Forum Scholarships.
