--Springfest 2009, April 25th--

Bands Collage

Featuring bands The Epilogues, Aloft in the Sundry, MEST, and The Tossers! Held at the Quigley Band Shell, this evening was filled with incredible music covering genres electro-rock, piano-rock, punk-rock, and celtic punk-rock. Other highlights of the night were freshly made Kettle Corn, Hot Dogs, Cotton Candy and a light snow to finish off the night! For live pictures click here.

 

--St. Patrick's Day Punk Bash, March 17th, 2009--

Band Collage

To celebrate the holiday, Program Council presented the St. Patrick's Day Punk Bash featuring artists Hit by a Bus and headliner Teenage Bottle Rocket. Held in the Keating Dining Hall, this event was filled with energy and lots of it. With beats to bang your head, tunes to dance to, and lyrics to scream, it was a great way to celebrate the green holiday! For live pictures click here!

 

--Toboggan Racing, Feb. 21st, 2009--

Zooming down the hill

In the midst of the fierce Gunnison winter PC held a day of Toboggan Racing! Using shovels and man power we constructed a toboggan race track down the length of the Mountaineer Bowl Hill. We timed the racers and those who got the best time earned a free dinner at Mario's Pizza and Restaurant! The ride down the hill was so extreme that we made sure our racers wore helmets! --Team FMX, Homecoming '08--

For Homecoming '08, Program Council brought in Team FMX to wow the crowd with their crazy stunts! The ramps were set up in the Borick parking lot, plenty of space for take-off and landing. The team members sped through the parking lot launching themselves and soaring through the afternoon and dusk sky. There was quite the crowd gathering for this epic event! --WOW Giant Slip'n'Slide--

The monstrous slip'n'slide

As a part of Week of Welcome '08, Program Council introduced WSC's largest slip'n'slide!Coming in at 150ft. long, 10ft. wide, and probably around 200lbs. rolled up, this thing will give you one heck of a ride! Being placed on the Mountaineer Bowl Hill gave it plenty of angle and insured you made it to the bottom in no time at all! By the time you reached the bottom you were soaked from head to toe. Program Council has done many more events but we were having so much fun we forgot to take pictures. As PC does more events and remembers to take pictures this page will continue to grow!
