Allison Drescher, Rugby

Allison Drescher was selected as Player of the Week for an outstanding individual performance against the Mesa State women’s rugby team. Allison's physicality, aggression and determination helped the WSC women gain and shift momentum as well as retain possession in a difficult loss to the lady Mavericks.

Women's Soccer Team

The Western State College Women's Soccer Team is a group of girls looking for a fun yet competitive level of play. 

Soccer at Western is all about meeting new people, traveling throughout our beautiful state of Colorado, being self-motivated, getting in shape, and a having a good time while playing the world's most popular game.

 

2008 Western Women's Soccer Team

Prospective Members

Girls looking to participate in the Women's Soccer Team at Western should be prepared to compete at an advanced level with other girls who may have high school and/or club experience. They should be physically prepared to keep up with the fast pace of play.

Season

Our season begins when school starts in August with training and meeting new players. The season continues through late October with games being played on weekends. Many of our players are also involved in other club sports, and activities around campus such as skiing & snowboarding, and intramural sports.
