Residence Life
Welcome to Your Home Away From Home!
Going away to college is an exciting and sometimes challenging time in your life. Daily schedules, familiar people and the comforts of home are replaced by new routines, places and faces. That is why your residence hall community is such an important part of college life. The friendships that you build with your roommate and neighbors provide a strong support system during your college years (and often throughout life!); the residence hall programs that you attend and the provided services will help you succeed in Western’s exciting on-campus living community.
Western State College values the on-campus living experience so highly that first year students are required to live in the residence halls. All other students are encouraged to live in on-campus housing as well in order to participate in the great campus community. We have designed this website to answer your questions about on-campus living at Western. The links will take you to pages that tell you about our mission, our staff, our residence halls, our policies and the housing application processes. We encourage you to become familiar with the information provided here.
If we can provide additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us directly at (970) 943-2101.
