Residence Life

Welcome to Your Home Away From Home!

Going away to college is an exciting and sometimes challenging time in your life. Daily schedules, familiar people and the comforts of home are replaced by new routines, places and faces. That is why your residence hall community is such an important part of college life. The friendships that you build with your roommate and neighbors provide a strong support system during your college years (and often throughout life!); the residence hall programs that you attend and the provided services will help you succeed in WSCU's exciting on-campus living community.

Western State Colorado University values the on-campus living experience so highly that first and second year students are required to live in the residence halls, beginning with our Fall 2012 Freshman class. All other students are encouraged to live in on-campus housing as well in order to participate in the great campus community and to gain the full WSCU experience. We have designed this Web site to answer your questions about on-campus living at WSCU. The links will take you to pages that tell you about our mission, our staff, our residence halls, our policies and the housing application processes. We encourage you to become familiar with the information provided here.

If we can provide additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us directly at (970) 943-2101.

The Housing Preference Form is now CLOSED. Upperclass students who have not completed the form but wish to live on campus may visit the Office of Residence Life beginning Monday, March 25, 2013 to select from available housing spaces. Thanks to all students who have helped to make this process a complete success!
