If you are a transfer student with 24 or more credits, we encourage you to attend our Transfer & Non-Traditional Student Orientation, which is designed to meet your specific needs. Heading off to college isn't a big deal for students only...  it's a transition for parents and families as well. Please indicate which events you plan on attending. These events are optional and some have an additional fee.
Wilderness Pursuits (WP), Western's gear and rental source, has organized a trip specifically for new transfer and non-traditional students on August 31, 2013. This trip will give you the opportunity to meet other new Western transfer students while also providing you with an introduction to the recreation opportunities that Gunnison and WP have to offer. This will be a full day excursion and will include rentals, lunch, transportation and instruction. $15.
