| Hello there! My name is Kay! I am originally from California and graduated high school from Colorado Springs, Colorado. I love the friendly vibe and active community found in the small town of Gunnison. I study art with an emphasis in sculpture and a minor in exercise sport science. WSCU has encouraged me to be open minded and try a lot of new outdoor activities. After attending Western I picked up hockey, snowboarding, hiking, and running. All of these activities have become a huge part of my life. The thing I love the most about WSCU is the wonderful professors we have on campus. Almost every professor I’ve encountered has always been so friendly, helpful, and personal! |
Hello! My name is Brittney Hogan. I came to Gunnison after graduating high school from Littleton. I am a Colorado native and can’t think of a better place to be! My studies at WSCU include psychology, sociology and art. The most important part of college for me has been to be involved in the campus and surrounding community. One reason that WSCU and the Gunnison valley have remained my home for the last four years is due to the small school atmosphere and small town feel. The best part about Gunnison for me is the outdoors and my Chaco’s, and the best way to enjoy those is to float the Gunnison River, which happens to be right in our backyard. |
