About our campus
Western State College is situated on 130 landscaped acres with 251 adjoining undeveloped acres within the Gunnison Valley - 3000 square miles of natural diversity. This prime location puts conference guests within reach of a variety of cultural and recreational experiences.
Staying on Campus
Western offers several lodging options for conference guests including single or double furnished rooms and private semi-private or shared bathrooms. Only a five-minute walk separates lodging areas from most meeting and dining facilities.

Amenities/Services
Western State College provides baisc linen (bottom sheet, pillow & pillowcase) and some housekeeping services, as well as 24-hour security service to meet your safety needs. There is ample, free, on-campus parking. Other services include a photocopy and fax center, UPS pick-up/delivery, a large screen TV lounge, swimming pool and gym facilities. There are on-site conference staff assigned to your group 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Room Rate Options
Each bedroom is supplied with basic bed linen (bottom sheet, pillow & pillowcase). We do offer additional items such as towels, top sheets and blankets at an additional charge. Reservations for these items must be made ahead of time.
Room Damage
Guests are responsible for the condition of their room during their stay. Any damage caused by a group or individual will be charged to the person responsible for the conduct of their group.
Campus Security
Helpful, experienced Campus Security officers are ready to help and may be reached immediately from any campus phone.
Lost and Found
Contact the Conference Staff Member on duty about lost and found articles. All lost and found articles will be logged and stored for a short time. Our staff will be happy to arrange mailing of found articles. After a month, unclaimed articles will be donated or discarded.
Pets
We regret that pets of any kind are not permitted on campus. Violation of this regulation will result in additional fees charged to the guest.
No Smoking Please
All buildings on campus are smoke-free.
Vending Machines
Vending machines are located in the lobby area of each residence hall and in each academic building.
