Sally Thode has enjoyed a successful career in public lands management for the past 23 years. With an emphasis in the administration of public lands recreation, she has worked with diverse user groups, land management professionals, and governmental agencies at all levels to preserve, conserve, and sustain natural and cultural resources. She has directed and mentored numerous seasonal and fulltime employees and volunteers of all ages in the care and appropriate use of public land.
Her career also includes teaching both in the k-12 environment as well as the collegiate level. She currently travels internationally much of the year and is excited about the prospect of mentoring and teaching current and future professionals in the sustainability and wise multiple use of public and private lands.
