Dana Lysons moved to the Gunnison valley in 2014 from Grand Junction, Colorado. She studied Visual Communications in Graphic Design at Collins College in Tempe, Arizona, as well as fine art at Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois. While the majority of her life has been spent in the four corner states, she has always considered Colorado her true home. With twenty plus years working for companies in a variety of industries, Dana brings to WSCU diverse experience working as an administrative professional and graphic artist and has proven a great asset and comfortable fit to the Communication Arts, Language and Literature Department, and Honor's Program. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, horseback riding, mountain biking, drawing, enjoying the Colorado outdoors, reading, and pet sitting. Dana expresses her gratitude to be working with such a great community at Western and the Gunnison valley.
