Welcome to the Office of the Registrar
- Summer registration began Monday, March 3.
- Advising for Fall 2014 begins March 10. Make sure to schedule an appointment with your academic advisor to retrieve your Registration Code. Fall registration for continuing students begins April 7.
- The withdrawal deadline for regular full-term courses is March 26.
- Spring 2014 Commencement will be held May 10 at 10am in the Mountaineer Bowl.

Full term - January 16
Weekend classes must be added no later than the close of business day prior to the class date.
Online instructor permission required only if class is closed or requires special permission. Should be done online – MyWestern.
Instructor permission required through drop deadline. Should be done online via MyWestern. After drop deadline also requires Department Chair approval. Must be done in the Office of the Registrar Taylor Hall.
Full term - January 28
Weekend classes must be dropped by contacting the Office of the Registrar at 943-7003, by the close of business day prior to the start of class.
Students must drop a course during the first 15% of the class meetings.
No permission required. Refund will be given if applicable.
Should be done online – MyWestern, except weekend classes which must be done through the Office of the Registrar.

Withdraw From a Course
Full term - March 26
Weekend classes are ineligible for withdrawal.
Students must withdraw before two-thirds of class has occurred.
Advisor and instructor signatures required on a withdraw slip. Will appear on record as a “W”. No Refund. Withdraw slip must be turned in to the Office of the Registrar.
Total Withdrawal from the University
Handled in the Students Affairs Office, located in Taylor Hall
