Directed by Karin Waidley, co-written by Chuck Novatka and with choreography by Crested Butte Dance Collective co-founder Adge Marziano, performances are set for 7:30pm April 9 through 11, and at 2pm and 7:30pm April 12 in Taylor Hall's Western Studio Theatre.
In an eclectic, visually-driven narrative based on true stories shared by the Hispanic immigrant community in Gunnison, relive our reinterpretation of the uncertainties, tensions and victories experienced not only by those who take a leap of faith to come here but also by their families and friends.
The Friday, April 11, performance will benefit Inmigrantes Unidos, and there will be a talk back after the show with the writer, director, choreographer and actors. Admission is $5 for Western students with ID and $10 for the general public.
April 9's show will be a Pay-What-You-Can Preview Performance. Tickets are available in advance at the Western Bookstore or 30 minutes before the performance in the Studio Theatre lobby. For advance ticket reservations or for more information contact Peak Productions at (970)-943-3013 or email email@example.com. This show is not recommended for children younger than 13.
