LLOYD HEINY MEMORIAL MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP
Purpose:
To provide financial assistance to selected Western State College students musicians.
Eligibility:
Must be a full-time student at Western State College. Candidates must have proven musical abilities, skills and promise, as observed by WSC Music Faculty. Recipients must be a declared, or plan to declare music major. Recipients must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and participate in a musical organizations associated with their major performance medium.
Application:
Applications are available from the Music Office or from the Office of Financial Aid. Candidates may be identified by WSC Music faculty and/or high school band directors or counselors by submitting letters of recommendation to the Music Program, WSC. Applications and/or letters of recommendation should include a complete transcript. If applicant is a continuing college student, copies of college transcripts are required.
Amount:
The amount of the award shall be $1,000.00 for one academic year.
