Becky Weidman-Winter teaches flute and flute choir at Western State College and music at the Crested Butte Community School.  She is completing a DMA from the University of North Texas where she studies with Terri Sundberg and holds degrees from the University of Colorado at Boulder (MM) and Oberlin Conservatory (BM), having studied with Alexa Still and Michel Debost.

Becky has performed across the country as a guest artist and clinician in New York, Texas, and Colorado. In 2008 she won the Kentucky Young Artist Competition in Bowling Green, KY and in 2007 won the Mid-South Young Artist Competition in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She performs in Colorado with the chamber group Mountain Music Trio (flute/oboe/guitar) and in Dallas, Texas was a member of the Garland, Las Colinas, and Arlington Symphonies and the band Tin Roof Tango. From 2001-2004 she was on the faculty at the Rocky Mountain Center for Musical Arts, teaching flute, piano, and Intro to Instruments and performed frequently with the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra.
