Finding Books and Other Materials in Savage Library
The library web site is your gateway to finding information. Search the library catalog for books, government publications, videos and DVDs, CDs, and other materials physically located in the library building.
For each book or item owned by the library, the library catalog gives you:
- the complete citation for each item (author, title, publisher, publication date) -- This is the information you will need to cite the item in your bibliography.
- the item's "call number" or number indicating its location in Savage Library
- a message indicating if the item is available or checked out

Books at Other Libraries
Not finding what you need in our library? By visiting Other Library Catalogs, you can search many other catalogs and databases to find books owned by libraries around the country. If you wish to search other catalogs, first try searching Prospector, a unified catalog for libraries in Colorado.
We are always willing to borrow books for you from other libraries. This service is called Interlibrary Loan. It takes about 7 - 10 business days to receive a book from another library. There are a couple of ways to ask us to borrow a book for you. You can submit an online request form available from the Interlibrary Loan Web page, or visit the library and complete a request form in person.
