Constitution

The Classified State employees of Western State College, having sincere interest and concern for the continuing goals, purposes, and functions of WSC and seeking the active representation and involvement of employees in the affairs of the College, establish this constitution for the WSC Liaison Council of Classified Employees.

The purpose of this Council shall be:

  • To provide a means of communication to lend a unity of purpose to the entire WSC community.

  • To provide a means through which classified employees may be represented and have a voice in making decisions which affect them.

  • To provide a means through which a better understanding may be brought about between classified employees and WSC. It shall be understood that this Council is not a personnel grievance committee.

  • To improve the status and public image of all classified personnel in the State Personnel System.

This Council shall coordinate its efforts with other organizations working toward similar goals. This Council shall not support any actions that may be contrary to the good of the State Classified employees.
