Bonfils Blood Drive on Campus 36
Come donate blood, Tuesday, March 26th and Wednesday, March 27th.
The next round of Bonfils BLOOD DRIVES will be held on campus at the Aspinall Wilson Center on Tuesday, March 26 (10:30 am-4:30 pm) and Wednesday, March 27 (8:30 am – 3:30 pm). If you wish to sign up for an appointment, or confirm the one you made in January please email Suzy at scoykendall@western.edu or call and leave a message at 943-2645. Include your name, phone number and the time you wish to donate and Suzy will contact you to confirm your appointment once she gets it entered into the system. You can also sign up for either drive online at www.bonfils.org or by calling 1-800-365-0006 ext 2.
Appointments occur every 10 minutes and it takes about 45-60 minutes to get through the full process of check-in, paperwork, initial screen, donation and treat/juice imbibing. Potential donors are deferred for tattoos or piercings received within the last 12 months or travel to malaria laden countries. Most travel to areas of Mexico is now a deferment as well, unless there is no chance in heck that you were exposed to malaria! Check with Suzy or Bonfils if you have questions about deferrals, the sooner the better.
