Assistant Director of Campus Life and Orientation

Western State College of Colorado invites applications for the position of Assistant Director of Campus Life and Orientation.  Preferred start date is September 29, 2008.

Responsibilities: The Assistant Director of Campus Life and Orientation will be responsible for assisting with Spring and Summer Orientation Programs, coordinating the Fall/Spring Senior Receptions, advising Program Council, supervising the Student Center Coordinators,  organizing and facilitating Family Weekend, organizing and facilitating the Service Learning program, assisting the Director in daily operations of the Student Center, working collaboratively  with the City of Gunnison to organize and facilitate Community Cleanup, maintaining Campus Life website and serving as the vending manager.

Qualifications and Experiences: Bachelor's Degree is required; a Master's Degree is preferred. Experience with college student programs is preferred.    

Salary: Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and related higher education background.  The salary range is $30,000-$34,000 with benefits.
