Archives of the Eleventh Headwaters Conference, November 3-5, 2000

250-300 people gathered Friday evening, November 3, to hear noted writer John Nichols portray a dark vision for the future of American society and the earth in general if we don't infuse the neoliberal capitalist economy with a sense of reality and somehow bring it under control. Between 70 and 90 people showed up for the next two days to consider how the communities of the Headwaters Region might regain a measure of control of our own local economies and take steps toward a more realistic economic future.
