What do you do for fun when you aren't working at Western?

I love the outdoors, which means my garage is stuffed with gear. When I’m not at work, I spend most of my free time on the side of a mountain with my two, wonderful miniature Australian Shepards, Zumi and Dayton.

What is your favorite meal at your favorite Gunnison or Crested Butte restaurant?

My favorite restaurant is The Slogar, just off of Main Street in Crested Butte. I can’t get enough of their endless fried chicken and homemade biscuits with honey butter, all served family style.

What is your favorite thing about living in Gunnison?

I actually love the weather in Gunnison and Crested Butte. Even with the cold temperatures during the winter, we get a ton of sunshine, great snow for skiing and the summers are spectacular. If you haven’t spent time in the Gunnison Valley in the summer, it’s definitely worth a visit.

Random fact about yourself?

While a student at Western, I was a founding member of the Anti-Gravity Society, a juggling club, where I taught myself to juggle while riding a unicycle. You might just see me cruising around campus on one wheel.
