Under Development

  • The Magicke Outhouse: Book Three of the Silverville Saga, is due out at the end of 2013, with Raspberry Creek Books.
  • Softy, Soothering Ways, a nonfiction book about my experience growing up in a family mortuary business, currently under consideration with a small press.
  • Book Four of the Silverville Saga is underway, through an option with Raspberry Creek Books to publish in 2015.
  • Dreaming in Silence, a second SF novel, is in outline form.
  • A screenplay adaptation of Strange Attractors, is underway.

Journalism

  • I have written dozens of features and news stories, ranging from local through regional markets such as The Denver Post and Colorado Business Journal, and on into international markets.
  • Kym and I edited and published a quarterly magazine in the mid '90s called Connecting with Colorado, a publication that mixed romancing the West with the realities of living in the New West.
  • We also served as co-editors and part owners of a weekly newspaper called The Gunnison Valley Telegraph in the mid 90s.
  • The most interesting project I was involved in was researching and co-writing articles with Kym about the Teton Sioux Treaty Council's bid for recognition as a sovereign nation before the World Court in the Hague, Netherlands. Our coverage was picked up by major papers across Europe -- although our own stateside AP didn't seem interested.
  • Guest Entertainment and Sports editor for Lycos's Top News project in the mid 1990s.
