A. Service to the University (Committee Work etc.):
· Provided support for the college-wide learning outcome assessment effort by collecting assessment data over the course of one semester (Spring 2006) in two course sections of MGMT 4030 on oral intensive communication learning outcomes and development
· Chair of the Faculty Development Committee, 2003 to 2004
· Represented the College of Business on a panel discussing cross-cultural issues in media communication and marketing strategies with a delegation of media industry leaders from various regions in Russia, October, 2003.

· Chairing the Instructional Development Committee from 2002 to 2004, notable accomplishment during my time as Chair: During the budget year 02/03 funding for grants was cut by nearly fifty percent. While the Committee received a record number of proposals for a total of over $100,000, we had to allocate only $25,000. This was a difficult process. As Chair I was able to facilitate the process in such a way as to stretch our funding and maximize support for mission critical projects. The Committee members were very satisfied and felt that I had made a potentially difficult process with many constraints and exceptionally limited resources easier as well as effective relative to the Committee’s mission.
· Preparation for, Development of and Implementation (in partnership with Dr. Smith) of the Strategic Experience in Europe for MBA graduate students.
· Development and delivery of a faculty development workshop for the faculty of the College of Business in November, 2002 on online instruction where I shared with them my experiences of teaching one of the first graduate courses delivered entirely over the Internet and shared with them insights about the differences between teaching on the ground versus online

Siemens in turn receives a gratuitous consulting project designed to evaluate and modify processes in relation to new client and product start ups.
