F. James Hahn
Emeritus Professor of Business Administration
A native of the Midwest, Professor Hahn ( jhahn@western.edu)
earned his bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Colorado. He continued his education at the University of Wisconsin's Law School, earning his J.D. degree in 1966. Professor Hahn taught at Tri-State University in Angola, Indiana before joining the Western State College of Colorado faculty in 1969.
During the years, Dr. Hahn has served as the Head of the Business, Accounting, and Economics Department for eight years; as the Women's Basketball coach for 14 years; and as a Trustee on the Board of State Colleges of Colorado on two different occasions. He has taught the Legal Environment, Business Law, Governmental Regulations, Financial and Managerial Accounting, Social Responsibility of Business and Management classes. He is also co-teaching a Gender Issues in Management class with Monica Newman.
