2002-Present:  Western State College of Colorado, Gunnison, CO
Full Time Lecturer

  1. Director, Second Writing Program

  3. Classes taught:  English 102/Academic Writing, English 150/Introduction to Literature focusing on Myth and Legend, COTH 202/Academic Writing and Inquiry, COTH 271/Small Group Communication and COTH 200/Public Speaking and Advocacy
  4. The instruction of English 102 also includes training and educating students to function as teacher’s assistants. 

 

1996-1998: Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO

  1. Instruction included preparing syllabi, researching class readings, creating tests, lecturing and extensive grading including drafts and revisions of rhetorical outlines, final drafts and essay format tests
