SUMMER TEACHER INSTITUTE
June 9-21 , 2008
The Teacher Institute provides opportunities for K-12 educators to enhance content knowledge, share pedagogy, and network with educators from throughout Colorado and beyond. This past summer we had 200 teachers on-campus for the Institute. The Teacher Institute offers a variety of content courses, taught by Western faculty, designed specifically for K-12 educators who want to enrich their existing curricula. The Institute is scheduled for June 11-24, 2007 with classes ranging from 1-3 credits.
If you would like to teach, submit your course proposal using the
"New Course Proposal"
form. In addition to the form, be sure to include your resume and
transcript. If you course includes a field trip, please complete the Field
Trip Form also. You find out more information about setting up a course
for the Teacher Institute by reading the "How
