This course is an opportunity to deepen your study for a half-day / full-day at the Yoga Ashram, 5 miles north of Gunnison by developing tools into deeper realms of creating more Yogic disciplines, lifestyles, and the Yoga rhyme into your everyday living. The day will start at 9:00 a.m. with healing tonics to feed our cells with nutrition and sooth our nerves for moving into a Pranayama Breathing class. This Pranayama class gives you enough to work on for months for one’s own Pranayama practice. An amazing plant-based brunch is served after the nervous system has adjusted. After brunch students have sun and fresh air time, working and experiencing the elements of earth, air, water, fire and either, exploring how this is the bases of Yoga. There will be time for discussion of the sisters of Yoga, Ayurveda and Vasstu. At this time students move into a meditation exploring the eight limbs of Ancient Yoga and then move into a deep 2 hour practice of asana, using yoga props and one on one alignment adjustments. Students are treated to a beautiful peaceful, sattvic, yogification prepared medicinal meal. The day concludes with some digestive poses after the meal, half-day students depart. For those who stay, the complete Yoga Library along with many Nutritional Books will be open for your study. Students have time to rest, freshen up, and then prepare for the journey to Crested Butte. Class departs at 5:30PM for the 1 1/2 hour all-levels public class at Yoga for the Peaceful. Students return to the Ashram by 9:00PM. Registration space is limited as to keep it very personal.
