This course is an introduction to Iyengar yoga or continuing study for those already familiar with the Iyengar system of yoga.  There are different levels to choose from: restorative yoga, beginner/level I, or level II for more advanced students.  Students work on restoring the body from the inside out, releasing stress and tension in the body and the mind, work on building strength and flexibility in the poses and for the more advanced students the course explores the poses on a deeper level, including inversions and beginning pranayama.  Props are used in the Iyengar system of yoga so anyone can practice and receive the benefits of yoga, regardless of your limitations.
