Alpenglow Concerts are the favorite summer activity of many locals and visitors alike. The free outdoor concert series takes place on Monday evenings during the summer. Come enjoy the sounds of a variety of music — ranging from funky blues piano to bluegrass to big band — with beautiful Crested Butte Mountain and stunning Paradise Divide as the backdrop.

Alpenglow 2014 runs every Monday from June 30 – August 18. Concerts start at 5:30pm. Bring your own chairs, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Food and beverage are also available for purchase. Pets are not allowed.

Date:August 11, 5:30 pm
Location:Center for the Arts Outdoor Stage
Details:Madam Sin is a Denver-based band that combines rock, jazz, blues and soul elements into a unique sound which can only be described as 100% wicked. Long time collaborators Sean Bresloff (drums) and Jon Rise (guitars) have laid down the foundation of this sound, with Shannon Fine (vocals), Brandon Stewart (horns), Sarah Mount (horns) and Ben Horton (bass). This 6-piece unit is a throwback to the Vaudeville days of soulful and accomplished musicians that collectively create beautiful & complex music that is simply beautiful to the ear.
Alpenglow concerts are held on the outdoor stage at the Center, rain or shine. They are free and open to the public.
