Still life drawing is one of the best methods to learn materials, techniques, and composition by setting up arrangements of objects to study, develop, and improve skills. Participants start with simple shapes and straight- forward methods of observation. Participants see how quickly they work up to familiar things found in nature: stones, branches, leaves, bones, etc.  Laura Elm firmly believes that everyone can learn to draw - if you can write you name, you can draw! Drawing is THE most fundamental skill an artist learns and is a highly rewarding creative activity.
