Reservation Policy

WP takes over-the-phone or in-person reservations for only inflatable kayaks and raft packages by calling: 970-943-7051.

Boat deposits are to reserve the rental and for any damage that may occur. Paddle Rafts are $100.00 and Expedition Packages are $150.00 and due upon reservation. This charge is on top of the rental charge. Please see the Return, Late, and Damage Policy.

Reservations are possible only for rental periods of two days or longer.

Expedition River Equipment will only be reserved with an Expedition Oar Package, and is not for rent individually. (Expedition River Equipment includes bay frames, oars, groovers, firepans, partner stoves, roll-top tables, kitchen floors, Canyon coolers, dry boxes, drop bags, and paco pads.) This ensures our complete raft packages are always fully stocked.

Reservation Cancellation Policy

Cancelations for inflatable kayaks and raft packages are only refundable 14 days prior to the reservations date (not any closer).

Return, Late, and Damage Policy

All equipment is due by 3:00 pm (one hour before closing time) on the return date to avoid late fees. Each item returned late will be charged a $3.00 service fee plus the Day 1 rental fee for each day, until that item is returned.
Equipment lost, soiled, damaged or wet are subject to a cleaning and/or damage fee. It is the responsibility of the renter to check the condition of the equipment at the time of pick-up.

All inflatables must be re-inflated and cleaned upon return. Renters are responsible for washing their boats and/or SUPs upon return to avoid cleaning fees. Please plan for a 30 minute return process.

A minimum fee for damaged inflatables is $150. Equipment will be evaluated upon return (and 24 hours for inflatables, bikes, and skis). Damage charges will be applied on any items needing repair or replacement.

Deposits are only refundable if no damages are incurred upon rental return/assessment.

See our Example Ski (in WP) for damage fee estimates. All ski and splitboard damages will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by our Ski Tech.

Rental Period Definitions

1 Day: Any rental where the equipment is out only one night, or equipment returned the same day as pick up.

2 Days or 3 Days (Weekend): Any rental where the equipment is out 2 or 3 consecutive nights. Example: Friday to Monday, or Tuesday to Thursday.

Extra Days: Each night the equipment is kept out after the first three consecutive nights counts as an additional day.

Complimentary Days: Each night the equipment is out of WP’s possession counts as one rental night. If in the event WP is closed two or more consecutive days, one will be complimentary and not charged for. If WP is only closed one day (such as Memorial Day) that does not count as a complimentary day.
