Wilderness Pursuits provides fun, low-cost, and professional-quality co-curricular outdoor expeditions and resources for the students of Western State Colorado University. Wilderness Pursuits trips are led by students and designed to meet the needs of a broad range of abilities and interests, while developing outdoor skills and fostering community, citizenry, environmental stewardship and healthy living.
WP has a whole fleet of Whitewater Kayaks, Inflatable Kayaks, SUPs, Rafts, Expedition frames and all the fixin's to get you on the river this summer. This season, we rent our river equipment to the public at very reasonable rates. Call for details and to reserve equipment: 970.943.7051

Wilderness Pursuits is also home to the WP Tune/Bike Shop, hosting FREE CLINICS to help you get the most out of our space. We also host the Terbush Memorial Summit, Wilderness Based Orientation, and many of our members are active participants on the Mountain Rescue Team.
