Attendance on the First Day of Classes

Instructors reserve the right to drop students from class rolls if they miss the first class meeting. If circumstances, such as weather or flight arrangements, prevent a student from attending the first class session, it is the student’s responsibility to contact each instructor to request the seat be held. A directory of instructor office and telephone numbers is available online using the directory.

Graduation Information

Students who plan to complete all degree requirements by the end of the term must have filed an Intent to Graduate form with the Office of the Registrar by the end of their Junior Year.  If this has not been completed, students should meet with their advisors immediately to initiate the process.

Students MUST complete an Application for Graduation through their MyWestern account, under Student Records.  The electronic application is only available for a limited time. Late applicants must contact Alysse Johnston in the Office of the Registrar, Taylor Hall 300, to determine eligibility.

The University holds commencement in Spring only, students who wish to participate must plan accordingly.  Contact Alysse Johnston with further graduation questions.
