Mission Statement:

The Native American Student Council strives to provide and enhance educational experiences and opportunities for all Western students, Faculty, Staff, and the Gunnison community through events and programs while providing a supportive environment for Indigenous students. In addition, we strive to promote a responsible representation of historical and contemporary Native American culture through discussion and by providing a forum for students seeking understanding, interest, awareness and appreciation.
